Hylton and I in Minakami, Gunma
It has proven very difficult to find the time to sit down and write an entry about my recent two weeks off from teaching. I don't really have the time now, as soon Hylton and I will heading to the home of one of the teachers I work with for a late lunch of sukiyaki. But I figured it'd be a start.
Winter break could be split into two groups. The first would be Hylton and I's short jaunt to Gunma prefecture for three days of onsen (hot springs), relaxation and good food.

The second segment of break was the week-long visit of Hylton's childhood friend Johnny. Unfortunately he got a bit sick in the middle of his stay, but I think he was able to get a good taste of Naruto and even our favorite megametropolis a couple of hours to the northwest.

I've been back at work for a week now, and am currently enjoying a much needed extra day off (thanks "Adults Day"!). Not much to report on that front, other than its a lot more fun not being in work.
